Join the Washington Clean Energy Testbeds for the next event in our Entrepreneur-in-Residence series: The Impact of Electric Vehicles and Solar on the Grid.   The growth in solar installations and the rapidly expanding EV market have introduced strain on the grid through a combination of intermittent periods of power generation and demand.  Join us for an informational discussion regarding how utilities and the renewables industry are working to ensure the durability of the grid as more grid-edge technologies are deployed.

An open networking session will follow the discussion. Light snacks and beverages will be provided.

Entrepreneur-in-Residence, Babu Jain, will also hold office hours on Tuesday, March 11th from 1pm to 3pm and on Wednesday, March 12th from 9am to 11am. 45-minute appointments can be requested by emailing wcet@uw.edu. Babu is a renewable energy entrepreneur with more than 30 years of experience leading global startups as well as technology teams at Fortune 500 companies, with leadership experience in the United States, India, Singapore, and Germany.
